Though much of our menu consists of guarded family recipes, you can create some Barresi's favorites at home.

Zabaglione Dessert Recipe:

6 Egg Yolks
1/2 pound confectionary sugar (Domino brand is good)
1/4 cup Marsala wine
1 pint whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup confectionary sugar

Combine top ingredients and mix with electric hand beaters over a double boiler...water bath should be big enough so bowl is surrounded by water at least half way.

Beat until light and fluffy

Whip cream, vanilla and sugar separately until stiff peaks, careful not to over whip.

Then "fold" the whip cream into slightly cool egg mix...chill before serving if you wish and add the fruit of your choice
